Bahrain National Museum

Opened in December 1988, The Bahrain National Museum is the largest and one of the oldest public museums in Bahrain. Visitors are taken for an intriguing, well-labelled introduction to the sights of the country. The museum, housed in a postmodern building with landscaping that brings the waterfront location up to the windows, houses many ancient artefacts (some even dating back to the Dilmun era!)
